Colorado Mountain Doulas always work in teams of two. Your team knows you and your family and your decisions intimately.
We provide continuity of care and teamwork with your preferred provider in your chosen place of birth. We support you and your partner through the entire process of pregnancy, labor, birth and immediate postpartum. We're always by your side when you need us.

- Continuous care during labor and birth to include
- Mental, emotional and physical support through encouragement, visualization, massage and other comfort measures
- Help determining current stage of labor (pre/early labor vs. active labor)
- Facilitating open communication with your birth team
- Assist in keeping birthing families comfortable, relaxed and working together during active labor
- Continuously ensure that the birthing space is comfortable, safe and conducive to a gentle birth
- Up to 2 hours Immediate Postpartum Care
-Immediate Postpartum Care includes
- Assistance with first infant feeding, if needed
- Help preserving privacy for the new family during the first hours after birth
- Assistance getting the new family settled in and ready to rest
-1-2 Postpartum Visits in your home for
- Continued help with infant feeding
- Discussing the labor and birth in detail if needed
- Answering any concerns or questions that may come up during the early days home together
*24/7 phone, email, and text support to answer any questions or concerns during pregnancy
You will receive a comprehensive 2 to 3 hour consultation. We will go over all your options and preferences for labor and birth. We will use evidence based material to help you navigate the pros and cons of interventions and help you determine which ones are right or wrong for your family. You will receive a printable copy of your birth plan to share with your care provider and birth staff to help you achieve the birth experience you desire. Your birthing experience should be beautiful, empowering, and a very special memory for you. Who you choose to come with you on this journey is very important. We hope we are among the chosen few!
